Sovereign Health of Rancho San Diego’s adolescent residential facility offers comprehensive behavioral health treatment services to teens, ages 12 to 17, who abuse or are addicted to alcohol and/or drugs, also referred to as a substance use disorder. Located in the city of El Cajon, California, in San Diego County, Rancho San Diego’s ranch-style facility is in a rural setting with lots of trees, vegetation and greenbelts surrounding the property.
Sovereign Health of Rancho San Diego’s adolescent facility is nestled between two mountain ranges and near the ocean for plenty of recreational and experiential activities to help adolescents overcome addiction. Rancho San Diego’s serene environment provides a unique environment in which youths can enjoy all that San Diego County has to offer while they focus on themselves and overcome their problematic use of alcohol and/or drugs.
Housing Amenities and accommodations
At Rancho San Diego, students live in a summer camp-like environment. Students sleep two to a room in separate living quarters for males and females in houses that are located in a safe, gated residential neighborhood. Rancho San Diego’s well-trained and qualified staff provides 24-hour supervision and crisis intervention to ensure student’s safety and protection. Adolescents who stay in Rancho San Diego’s residences are provided three meals a day prepared by our on-site nutritional chef. Requests can be made for adolescents who have special dietary needs.
